Terms of use

These terms set out the basic rules for using dogcal. By using the service, you agree to them.

Last updated 2 October 2026

Using dogcal

dogcal is a private service for coordinating dog care with people you know and trust. You must provide accurate information, keep the details you use to sign in secure, and use the service lawfully and respectfully.

Care arrangements

dogcal helps people plan and communicate; it does not provide pet care services and does not employ, vet, or supervise carers. You are responsible for deciding who you trust, agreeing each arrangement, and sharing any health, safety, or emergency information a carer needs.

Your content

You keep ownership of information and photos you add. You give dogcal permission to store and show that content to the relevant people in your dogcal circle so that the service can work. Only share content that you have the right to use.

Availability and changes

dogcal is currently in private beta. We may change, pause, or withdraw parts of the service, and cannot promise that it will always be available or free from errors.

Responsibility

dogcal is provided as a coordination tool. To the extent permitted by law, dogcal is not responsible for losses arising from care arrangements between users or from relying on information another user provides. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Leaving dogcal

You can stop using dogcal at any time. To ask us to remove your account or personal information, use the contact form.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as dogcal changes. The latest version will always be published here with its updated date.
