We organise relaxed meetups in local parks to bring together dog owners and people who simply love dogs. It’s an easy way to meet neighbours, spend time with dogs, and grow a small community around them.

If your dog can’t join group meetups — for example if they’re reactive — or if you’d like help finding a good match for walks or dog care, let us know and we’ll try to connect you with nearby owners.

Our story
Built by a dog lover who doesn't own a dog.
Hi, I'm Edi — I live in North London, and I'm a big dog lover. I don't have a dog of my own, but I've been lucky enough to spend a huge amount of time with some truly wonderful pups nearby.
Over the years I've built real, loving bonds with these dogs — and the arrangement genuinely works perfectly for everyone. Owners get trusted care from someone their dog already knows and loves. I get the joy and connection of having a dog in my life without the full-time commitment. And the dogs? They get more walks, cuddles, and adventures.
The problem was always the scheduling. Group chats, missed messages, last-minute scrambles. I built dogcal to make this simple — so that dog owners can easily find care from the people who already love their pup, and so that more people like me can spend quality time with lovely dogs nearby.
